Testimonials

I hadn't really enjoyed my first few years of uni and was uncertain as to whether this was what I wanted to do but Lismore has been the best year of my life both socially and in terms of the amount of medicine that I've learnt and I feel much much better about the future as a doctor than I think I would've otherwise. I'd never considered working rurally before, but now I am definitely looking to pursue rural opportunities during and after training.

“Our preceptor kindly involved us in all aspects of his work, so it was great to be involved in the multi-disciplinary meetings and working as a team with other health professionals. I love to return to the area to work one day. “

“It was great being exposed to both outpatient and inpatient paediatrics, and receiving supervision from 3 different consultants”

“Working in a multidisciplinary team has facilitated expanded knowledge related to client diagnosis and treatment. All staff were both professional and welcoming in their attitude to students and provided a pleasant working environment.”
